Like all great things in life my experience with wine has been about the journey just as much as it has been about the wine itself. The first time I walked rocky hillsides of the Priorat region of Spain changed my life forever. The first time I set foot on the African continent can never be understated. The first time I got stuck in the mud in a Grand Cru vineyard in Burgundy was a lesson in humility, and history. The sum of these experiences has made me what I am today. It has been my own assemblage.
